The Faculty of Medicine’s MD Undergraduate Program is currently in the process of transitioning from the existing platform MEDICOL (Blackboard Learn) to Entrada. This change will be occurring between August 2017 and August 2018. Yr.’s 1 and 2 will begin the transition in August 2017 with Yr. 3 and 4 following in the spring of 2018.
What is Entrada?
Entrada is an online platform that allows learners and faculty to access, interact with, and manage information within their educational environment. It has been designed to meet the requirements of a medical education program as it was initiated from Queen’s University’s Faculty of Health Sciences. The tool continues to be developed by Health Science and Medical Schools across the world.
The Faculty of Medicine uses an education administration tool called one45. This tool is used for clinical rotations scheduling, Academic Half Day scheduling and evaluation, preceptor evaluation, student assessment and logging student encounters.
