Creating an Exam Post

The Exam Post determines the actual settings of the exam, including the timeframe students can access it and feedback release.

  1. Add Descriptions and Instructions for the exam here.
  2. Next, under the Settings tab set the exam start and end date, submission deadline, time limit, number of attempts. Make sure the time frame is set to during for the exam to be taken within the time frame you want.
  3. The Audience tab is left as is unless specified by the client to make changes to the same. This is where you can give accommodations to specific learners if they require it and also exclude learners who are not taking the exam.
  4. Next on the Feedback tab, feedback release can set up for individual grades, answers and attaching of the gradebook.
  5. Review the Exam Post and save it. This can be checked again from the student’s perspective when you navigate to the event in the course calendar. You can also find your Exam Post under the Posts section when editing your exam.
