How to Edit an Entrada Learning Event

Note: When editing a Learning Event in the UGME section, please make sure to consult Shaun Kevilovski, from the Vancouver Fraser Medical Program (shaun.kevilovski@ubc.ca) and Denis Zhelenkov from the Curriculum Management Support Unit (denis.zhelenkov@ubc.ca) who are both Educational Administrative Systems Support Analysts, before editing the event. They will make sure that everything is linked correctly to curriculum map, learning objectives etc.

Please communicate the following updates the the Curriculum Management Support Unit.

  • Title Changes
  • Event Duration Changes
  • Instructor Changes
  • Host Site Changes
  • Event moving to a different date/week
  • Educational Method changes or updates

In order to create a completely new Learning Event (or if you would like to delete the event), please send the information directly to the CMU team and they will create (or delete) the event in Entrada.

  1. Log in to Entrada, https://entrada.med.ubc.ca/, using your CWL.
  2. Navigate to the Manage Events tab under Admin. Make sure you are in Coordinator View.
  3. You can apply Filters to easily find your event. The Year and Course filters are the most helpful.
  4. Locate the event and click the title to open it.
  5. To edit the title, simply click on the title and edit it accordingly.
  6. To save the title change, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
  7. It is the same process for changing the date or time. Click on the date or time sections and change those items accordingly. Scroll to the bottom and click on Save.
