Accessing Sensitive Videos

What are sensitive videos?

Some of the videos used in teaching clinical skills at UBC are identified as sensitive because they contain copyrighted materials or the privacy of patients and practitioners in them need to be protected.

To comply with UBC’s privacy and security guidelines sensitive videos are not publicly available and must be accessed using an individual video account and password.

How do you obtain an account?

Faculty of Medicine videos are managed on Panopto. Complete this form online to request an account. You will need a University or Health authority email. Private email addresses are not accepted.  New accounts are usually provided within two working days
