Tips For A Better Zoom Session

Device

Connect with a laptop or desktop computer 

Cell phone, tablet or iPad are not recommended

Audio

Use a headset with an incorporated microphone to optimize your audio quality (Tip: Connect the headset to your computer before you connect to your meeting)

Internet

Whenever possible connect to your event using ethernet cable not WIFI

Performance

To prevent Zoom freezing etc., ensure that other applications are not running in the background on your computer or that others in your home are not making heavy use of your internet service (e.g. computer gaming)

Zoom Update

Make sure that your Zoom account is automatically updating(Find out how to enable this here)

Connection

Test your connection before the event(Join a test meeting here)

Note: There can be difficulties connecting from some health authority internet services due to firewalls etc., be sure to test your connection from the location you intend to join or run a session
